Notes and Legend

left hand fingering (LHF) below the tab -
1 - index finger (forefinger)
2 - middle finger
3 - ring finger (annular)
4 - little finger (pinky)

===    - length of note, note held, duration
>      - accented, marked, stressed
< < <  - crescendo - growing louder
> > >  - decrescendo - growing softer
arp.   - arpeggiate - ripple upwards from the lowest note to the highest note
bpm    - beats per minute (quarter notes)
f      - forte - loud, strong
F.     - Fermata - pause, notes held for longer than their value
g      - grace note (ornament- acciaccatura) - an extra note played before just
         before the main note - here played as pull-offs
mf     - mezzoforte - moderately loud
p      - piano - soft, quietly
rit.   - ritenuto, slowing down, suddenly slower
t      - tenuto - notes played firmly for at least their full length
tempo  - time (a tempo - return to the earlier tempo - after rit.)

c1     - part barre on the 1st fret
c2     - part barre on the 2nd fret [etc]
