The tempo of the MIDI is 100 bpm (beats per minute - quarter notes).

measure 9 - the right hand could be played using the thumb on the 6th string
and raking upwards with the index finger, or by missing out the 4th string
(simplest), or by making it into a 6 string chord by adding a B on the 2nd
fret of the 5th string and strumming all 6 strings with the thumb

measure 12 - this is difficult to play as written - an easier way would be to
give up holding on to the D# (on the 5th string) and sacrificing the D# on the
2nd string (playing instead the less interesting B on the open 2nd string) -
